Last night coincided with the time change. Apparently that made things to start us a little tangled. An unfortunate error made the second bus, which was to bring the participants of the IV OC, the left abandoned and waiting in Havana, while the other group arrived in San Jose.
Since we could not stop the event, while the situation was resolved forward sowing plant planned (in this case, a position Anacaguita, huge and beautiful tree similar to the shape of your trunk to the Cuban ceiba) Grant Community environmentalist Erasmo Calzadilla). We went to the nursery a good group of colleagues and undertake the work. The director of the nursery gave us a warm welcome and she, along with their workers, and some small Yadira (project The Trencito) "captured" by the surroundings, accompanied us in the beautiful task of sowing. We
impacted by the beautiful and well kept garden (national reference) where workers and children cultivate vegetables that are part of your daily diet. Then we search for a suitable place and together we sow the Anacaguita. The action served to realize the link with the nursery, established the commitment to seek to sow the whole play area other trees line the small space.
For its part, The train took us all to play, an experience where we were all children. Thus, the sample of the work of this project was merged organically with the action in the circle, and intention setting from exchange of experiences between the two educational projects.
Product of the incident with the bus in the morning, the afternoon session was well loaded with work scheduled for the day, plus the contribution of Friends "We Cuba" Hiram and Luis Emilio, who severally, and in return for the participation of members of the OC at your event, participated actively narrating the experiences of his recently concluded event and bringing in different the discussions. The unfortunate coincidence of both programs at the time was the subject of discussion among those present on what Hiram was concluded that a sample of the joint forces that move us.
was presented a summary of the main activities of the OC in March 2009 to March 2010, which served to expand the network from and Critical Observatory, which was joined by many of the attendees. Session also the first panel version Theoretical Event itinerant Digital Media and Culture, Esquife project. Dmitri tomorrow has promised a more detailed and analytical, so I do not go further into the contents of several very interesting papers presented at this conference, which lasted until 7:00 pm over, trying to recover some of the time am.
The conclusion was a beautiful 10-minute audiovisual experience includes train, and gave energy to all (along with the cookies Yadira distributed) to board the bus and return to Havana. On the way, Pedro Campos complied with their part in the panel skiff, with a short but energetic and excited exposure of your digital media experience, in this case the electronic bulletin SPD (Participatory and Democratic Socialism). Remember
details coming tomorrow, not today no longer enjoy some of the photos taken during the event.
